Manage appointment types
When to use this procedure
Follow the steps below to create and maintain the types of appointments that are available to use when creating and scheduling classes.
Steps to complete
Select from the options below to manage your appointment types.
- On the Add/Change Appointments window, click Add.
- Enter a description for the new appointment type in the Description box.
- Select Group or Private in the Membership box to indicate if this is to be an appointment type for an individual or a group.
- Enter the duration of the appointment in the Appointment Length box.
- Enter the amount to charge students for the appointment in the Rate box.
- Select Recurring or Single in the Appointment Type box to indicate if this is a one-time only appointment or one that recurs.
- Select a billing period in the Billing Type box to indicate if students should be charged per class, weekly, monthly, and so on.
- To display this appointment type on the Scheduling window in a certain color, enter the RGB value of that color in the Appointment Color boxes.
- Select the locations where this appointment can be scheduled in the Store Location grid.
- Click Save.
- On the Add/Change Appointments window, select the appointment type you want to edit in the Appointment Description grid.
- Revise information about the appointment as necessary using the fields and boxes to the right of the grid.
- Click Save.
- On the Add/Change Appointments window, select the appointment type you want to delete in the Appointment Description grid.
- Click Delete.
